CLI Preliminary Procedures (Passport 4430/50/55)

  1. Access the Set T1E1 command line, and provision the set port for the T1/E1 DSX-1/L1 line and clock source.
  2. Connect voice/fax channels B1 and B2 to DS0 channels 1 and 2, respectively.

    3. To do that enter the following:

    CLI>set t1/e1 ds0Connect local 1 idle
    CLI>set t1/e1 ds0Connect local 1 B1
    CLI>set t1/e1 ds0Connect local 2 idle
    CLI>set t1/e1 ds0Connect local 2 B2

  3. Busyout all other digital voice channels (B3-B6, C1-C12, and D1-D12, as applicable).
