CLI Procedure for Configuring the NAC/NAS

To provision the NAC/NAS and its associated cache, the tasks listed in the table below must be performed:

  1. Adding a NAC Cache (entry)

Add a static entry in the local cache by DNA and phone number.

 

  1. Adding a NAC Server

Assign a primary and a secondary NAC server by address and name.

 

  1. Defining the NAC

Define the customer ID and size of cache.

 

  1. Deleting a NAC Cache (entry)

Delete a static entry in the local cache.

Optional

  1. Deleting a NAC Server

Delete a previously added NAS server.

Optional

  1. Reset System NAC Cache Command

Clears all dynamic entries from the NAC cache.

Optional

  1. Setting the NAC Parameters

Set the NAC parameters, such as cache status, number of address requests retries, and duration of request time-out.

 

  1. Modifying a NAC Server

Modifies parameters of a previously added NAS server.

Optional

  1. Configuring NAS Basic Aging Time

Sets an aging time value within the NAS.

Optional

  1. Show NAC Commands

Displays current information about the NAC
