Compander Format (DVM & BRI)

The Compander Format parameter is used to set the compander format to the applicable setting below:

• uLaw for T1 connections
• aLaw for E1 connections

Note: The Compander Format parameter must be configured to the same setting for all voice channels using the same DSP. Refer to Voice Channel Status (Passport 4460) to verify which voice channels are sharing a DSP.
