DACS Overview

Digital Access and Cross-Connect System (DACS) in the Passport 4460 supports Channelized T1/E1, voice bypass, and data drop and insert features. These features reduce the number of T1/E1 lines required at any given site.

DS0s/DS0 bundles provide the following services:
